We had an excellent experience with Opera Solar Energy, and particularly with Andy. What stood out from the beginning was how responsive the team was. Questions were answered promptly and in detail, changes to the design and quote were turned around quickly, and communication remained excellent all the way through to installation. I also really appreciated the complete lack of hard sell. I did a lot of research using AI and asked Andy some fairly detailed questions, including a few where it would have been very easy to convince me that I needed additional equipment or more expensive options. Instead, he was very pragmatic about what would actually benefit our system and what wouldn't. At no point did I feel they were trying to maximise the value of the sale. Andy also took the time to visit the property before we committed, discuss battery placement, shading, backup requirements and the switchboard, and work through the design with us. When I had particular requirements about which roof areas I wanted used, they listened and designed around them rather than simply taking the easiest installation option. We ultimately installed a 13.23 kW AIKO system with a GoodWe inverter and approximately 33 kWh of battery storage. The installation team did a great job and I'm particularly happy with how clean the panels look on the roof. Overall, what impressed me most was the combination of prompt communication, technical knowledge and straightforward advice without overselling. For what can be a pretty confusing purchase, I always felt I was being helped to make the right decision rather than being sold the most expensive one. Very happy with the experience and would happily recommend Andy and the Opera Solar team.

After contact with several companies, Opera Solar Energy showed great attitude and professionalism. Andy was always happy to answer my many queries and was available even after hours. He was patient even when i asked for quotes for different systems during the planning process. Allan and Brian were also great during the installation process. There was a small hiccup but Andy helped us to resolve it so i can safely say their after sale support is fantastic!

I recently had solar panels and a home battery system installed, and overall the experience has been excellent. The installation team, especially Cam and Allan, were outstanding. They worked efficiently, maintained a high level of professionalism, and paid great attention to detail throughout the process. What really stood out was how clean and tidy they left the site—there was no mess or leftover materials (no mesh or debris), which made a big difference. I’d also like to commend Opera Solar Energy for their after-sales service. The handover process was very smooth and thorough. They took the time to clearly explain the system, provided all the necessary warranty documentation, and made sure I understood who to contact for any warranty claims or technical support. Overall, a fantastic experience from installation through to after-sales support. Highly recommended!
