After a few challenges getting the project underway, we're happy with the final outcome and would recommend Opera Solar. Our terracotta roof turned out to be more complicated than originally quoted, which resulted in additional installation costs. To Opera Solar's credit, once the issue became clear they acknowledged it and agreed to share the additional expense rather than simply passing the full amount on to us. The process wasn't without a few bumps along the way and communication could have been better at times, but the team ultimately delivered on what was promised. The installation was completed professionally, the workmanship looks excellent, and the handover documentation was comprehensive. The system itself is performing well and we're looking forward to seeing the long-term savings. A special mention to Andy for working through the challenges with us, finding a practical solution, and standing behind the job when things became more complicated than first expected. It's easy for things to go smoothly when everything goes to plan. What matters is how a company responds when it doesn't, and in our case Opera Solar worked with us to get the right outcome. I recently had solar panels and a home battery system installed, and overall the experience has been excellent. The installation team, especially Cam and Allan, were outstanding. They worked efficiently, maintained a high level of professionalism, and paid great attention to detail throughout the process. What really stood out was how clean and tidy they left the site—there was no mess or leftover materials (no mesh or debris), which made a big difference. I’d also like to commend Opera Solar Energy for their after-sales service. The handover process was very smooth and thorough. They took the time to clearly explain the system, provided all the necessary warranty documentation, and made sure I understood who to contact for any warranty claims or technical support. Overall, a fantastic experience from installation through to after-sales support. Highly recommended!

We were recommended Opera Solar by our local electrictians, after part of our existing 15 year old solar panels' wiring caught fire and caused irreparable damage. We hadn't done any research on batteries or new panels. Andy came to assess our home to give us the best possible quotes. With his expertise and attention to detail he gave us three quotes. We settled for 9.03kW Solar + 33.28kWh Battery with Hybrid Inverter. His guidance and care with excellent service enabled us to select the most appropriate setup for our home. We were able to take advantage of the rebates available. Andy takes meticulous steps to make the whole process as smooth as possible with respect and professionalism. His installation team, led by David, is amazing! They are efficient, clean, obliging and approachable. Very neat work was done considering we had extensive cabling. David guided us through setting up the App on our phone. Only recently, there was a power outage in our area, and we had power to several power points, fridge and lights due to our battery backup. Andy and the team suggested, that at the time of installation we setup some circuits in the home to be able to switch to battery power during outages! We are grateful and very happy with the system and the customer service. Definitely would recommend Andy at Opera and his team with utmost confidence!!
